Sten (pronounced "Steen") has been playing in bands off-and-on since he was 12. Today he plays various musical instruments and genres. He began studying classical guitar in 1987 and was fortunate to have regular private instruction from English guitar teacher Carlos Bonell for around a decade. After living in London for 37 years - where he frequently jammed and sang in pubs with his mandolin - Sten and fiancee (now wife) Judith moved to East Hampshire early in 2021, where they look forward to integrating with the local classical music scene.
