Graham Cleaver

Early forays into the classical guitar were guided by the patience of local teachers Paul Bickle, John King and Adrian Neville. Over subsequent years continuing development has been greatly enhanced by study with top players including Alice Artzt, John Mills, Michael Stimpson and Helen Sanderson.

In 1995 gained a diploma in classical guitar performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and now teaching in various school and ensemble settings. Founder-director of the Twango! youth guitar ensemble and administrator of the guitar section of the Southampton Music Festival.

Immersed in classical and electric/steel strung applications of the instrument; reflected by stylistically diverse interests in writing and recording. Performances are not just solo but more often in groups, duos and as an accompanist.
