Martina Zuhlke At the age of 11 years I started to play classical guitar. After leaving school, and already teaching guitar privately, I decided to take up a musical profession. I have studied Classical Guitar, Instrumental Pedagogy and Music Therapy in Cologne and Aachen (Germany) with Thomas Karstens and Hans-Werner Huppertz. I participated in masterclasses with Pavel Steidl, David Russell, Thomas Mueller-Pering, David Tanenbaum and Tadashi Sasaki. During my studies I have been both teaching the guitar and performing classical pieces continuously. Finishing my studies included concert performances and exams in instrumental didactic. I moved to England two years ago. I am currently working for Southampton Music Services, teaching in primary schools. My teaching range includes all ages from beginner up to Grade 8. I am confident to prepare and support for Trinity Guildhall exams. Please contact me via e-mail martina_zuhlke@NOSPAMlive.co.uk (remove the NOSPAM bit first). |
