Michael Hulmes

I have been teaching classical and electric guitar for 17 years and am presently the Head of Guitar at Canford School in Poole, Dorset. I am a past semi-finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition and have given concerts in the UK< Europe and the USA.

I teach anyone from age 6 and above, from absolute beginner to post graduate students. I have past pupils now studying at The Royal College of Music, Warwick University and Oxford University. I have a 100% pass rate in all grade exams and use the Trinity-Guildhall Board.

Private lessons can be arranged for 30, 45 or 60 minutes and I am willing to travel to the pupil's house within the Poole and Bournemouth areas.
