Locations

Below are maps to most of the locations we currently use. All meetings are held at The St Boniface Centre and all celebrity concerts are in The Point, Eastleigh. We do try to put other concerts on around the Southampton region so that we can bring the guitar to all communities

St Boniface Centre, Chandlers Ford

Our meetings are held upstairs in the St. Boniface Centre, Hursley Road, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, SO53 2FT

Chandlers Ford can be approached from the north, via M3 junction 12, and from the south, via M3 junction 13 or M27 junction 5

A car park is a few yards along the road (see aerial view of the area) and the centre is a short walk from Chandlers Ford station

Entrances are on either side leading to stairs to the room we use

The Point, Eastleigh

We put on our "Celebrity Concerts" here. It is situated on Leigh Road. Eastleigh, SO50 9DE. Close to M3 junction 13 or M27 junction 5

This recently refurbished theatre, with raked seating for over 250, has hosted almost 50 of our concerts since 1998. See here for a list

There are several places to park close to the theatre and it is a short walk from Eastleigh station with direct trains to London

The theatre has comfortable seating in the foyer and a bar

Milner Hall, Winchester

We occasionally put on a "Young Artists Concert" here on St Peter St., Winchester, SO23 8BW.  Winchester Guitar Festival also use it

Milner Hall is approached through a small arch on the side of a street and along a path for about 20 yards

The easiest parking is just a short walk away in Gordon Road. As the venue is in the town centre, it is well served by public transport

Hanger Farm Arts Centre, Totton

This is a new venue for us. We use it for the first time in Sept 2011. It is on Aikman Lane, Totton, SO40 8FT (part of Totton College)

The venue is a beautifully restored barn with plenty of parking on site. Care is needed on approach for the final 2 or 3 residential streets

There are frequent buses from Totton and Totton railway station is about a 30 minutes walk away
