Southampton Classical Guitar Society ~ Programme

Gary Ryan - 2nd May 2009

Gary agreed to enter into the sprit of adventure and play a programme predominantly of our audience's choosing. For several weeks regular readers and audience members made their requests via this page. Not surprisingly, if Gary had played everything that was asked for we'd be there well after midnight but he has managed to include about 70% of all requests plus a couple of his own to ensure a good balance.

It is fair to say we could easily have filled the concert just with Gary's compositions, such was the demand. Some of the most requested have been included but if anyone is disappointed there will be plenty of CDs available on the night and he will, of course, be happy to sign them after the concert.

Many thanks to everyone who sent in requests and apologies if your request could not be included. But wait... all is not lost. We don't know what his encore will be yet, assuming you all enjoy the concert enough to demand one, that is!
