| The society's first concert was in February 1973 featuring the then student player, Nigel North, playing to an audience of 60 in La Sainte Union College (now known as New College). He was such a hit, he was immediately invited back in June! | Since then countless guitarists have played concerts arranged us. In the 1970s, concerts were sometimes jointly arranged with the BBC for broadcast on Radio 3. (Orange denotes public concerts, grey denotes short recitals at SCGS meetings). | ||
