- Born 1974 in Geelong, Australia, and raised in Guadalajara,
Mexico, Winy studied Mexico and Germany. Since then he enjoys a substantial
career as a concert soloist and appears in Canada, USA, Germany and Mexico.

He is known for his innovative programming, which he can design to please listeners from any cultural background, age or level of musical experience. Johannes played a short recital July 2005 for Southampton Classical Guitar Society. No doubt most of those present that night will be looking forward to seeing him again in Winchester.
