Free mailing list: we operate free postal and email services. We can send you a flyer 3 weeks before a concert and/or an email 1 week in advance so you'll never miss a concert. Sat. 16th October, 8pm, The Point, Eastleigh: Johannes Möller (from Sweden) 2010 GFA Winner!!! (27th July in Austin, Texas) We are delighted that the next in our Celebrity Concert Series features the great Swedish guitarist/composer, Johannes Möller. His concert for the Winchester Guitar Festival in 2008 will be remember for a very long time by all who were there on a hot July evening. Johannes graduated from The Royal College of Music after studying with Gary Ryan and Carlos Bonell, and then completed his Masters at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague where he studied with Zoran Dukic. The concert takes place at The Point, Leigh Road, Eastleigh at 8pm. Tickets on sale now priced £12 (Concessions £10) via the venue's website or by phoning the box office on 023 8065 2333. (Members can now also purchase 2 tickets at £8 each direct from the box office). Sat. 20th November, 8pm, Milner Hall, St. Peter Street, Winchester: Sam Cave We are thrilled to announce our new "Young Artists Concert Series" to compliment our long establish "Celebrity Concert Series". Aimed at promoting the work of newly graduated musicians embarking on a professional concert career these concerts will take place in a variety of venues around the region to bring music to as wide an audience as possible. We kick off this new venture with Sam Cave. Tickets £8, available on the door. More details to follow in due course.

Winchester Guitar Festival 2010: July 23rd-25th Once again, Southampton Classical Guitar Society is very proud to be a co-promoter of the festival concerts which this year features two outstanding players from England and Canada. (Click the photo for a larger image). Fri 23rd July 1pm: Helen Sanderson & The Eden Stell Guitar Duo kick off the festival with a lunchtime concert at St Lawrence Church, just off the High Street. Tickets just £7 on the door or via the link below. Fri. 23rd July 8pm, Mark Ashford - a student of Gordon Crosskey at Chethams's School of Music, he followed his graduation with a year of intensive private study in Spain with David Russell. Mark is a multi-award winning guitarist who has performed all over the world as soloist and as a member of the Vida Guitar Quartet. Sat 24th July 8pm, Dale Kavanagh (from Canada) - acclaimed as one of the guitar world´s most gifted interpreters, Dave Kavanagh hails from Toronto and now lives in Germany. She completed her studies with Oscar Ghiglia in Switzerland. She has played more than 1,000 concerts in over 40 countries.
